Theories Of Mind is the personal vision of Eric Boggess a local guitarist, and singer/songwriter from the D.C area. The band's name is derived from a term in psychology. Our music is a mix of alternative rock with a jam band and progressive rock influence, including elements of jazz and fusion.
Theories Of Mind are working on our first album, which is scheduled to be released late in 2023. The album is being produced by Marco Delmar, from Recording Arts, LLC. In keeping with the band's name, the creative process is an inclusive one and the album features a number of exceptional session players, including Eric Selby on drums and percussion, Pat Drews on bass, Brian Simms on keyboards, Bobby Muncy on sax and flute, and Ashley Cash on backing vocals. Eric Boggess plays all the guitar parts on the album, except some rhythm guitar by Marco on More Than a Fragrance.

Theories Of Mind are back in the studio on November 1st and 4th to record rhythm guitar tracks for our next four songs. The rhythm section is so tight with Pat Drews on bass and Eric Selby on drums.
